“Reeds Place” development with Troy Homes | Steeple Bumstead, Braintree, Essex
The Ashby Design Technical team enjoyed a recent visit to one of our current sites in Steeple Bumstead, Braintree, Essex by one of our closest and long-standing clients, Troy Homes . We were delighted to assist on this project by providing full technical drawing support.

Abbey New Homes Charity Golf Day, 2023 | Brookmans Park Golf Club
It was a pleasure to attend the Abbey New Homes Charity Golf Day 2023, on a blustery day, at Brookmans Park Golf Club. The Willow Foundation, which makes precious memories for seriously ill young adults, ended up raising an incredible £7K on the day! Thanks to all involved and who generously donated.
Self-build with South African flare, Frimley
In true South African style, our client celebrated moving into his self-build home with a BBQ in August and we are pleased to see how great the house looks. The home is part of a wider self-build development in Surrey Heath, of which we helped to obtain Reserved Matters approval for the client’s plot in April 2022. We also assisted in producing the construction package drawings towards the houses completion in July 2023.
The “Burrows” development at Paddock Wood, Tonbridge
The Ashby Design Technical team recently visited Paddock Wood, Tonbridge, to see the near complete “Burrows” development. The development consists of 300 homes, offering 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, in which Ashby Design have assisted the client, Countryside, since 2021 with full technical drawing support.
Change-of-use project in collaboration with LLO | Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire
We’ve been busy working with LLO on this impressive residential block of flats, consisting of 36 plots of 1 & 2 bedrooms. Situated in the centre of Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, the residents of this development will enjoy both the city living experience and the tranquillity that Buckinghamshire has to offer.

New homes due for completion late 2023 to early 2024 | The How, Cambridge
Planning permission was obtained in 2021 for 19 new dwellings, which create a healthy balance between sympathetic architecture to compliment the 19th century manor house and bold, contemporary forms for a striking development identity within the vernacular. This project was a culmination of 5 years working with the client and Huntingdonshire District Council.

Zero Carbon standard development for London Borough of Hounslow
We are pleased to have worked on these two apartment blocks with a total of 13 flats complete with winter gardens and striking roof lines. The rooms are designed in accordance with local policy guidelines, creating spacious and liveable units. Hounslow wished to enhance the development’s specifications to meet Zero Carbon standards utilizing methods such as solar panels and ASHP.

We recently did a site visit to view the new 108 units at Daventry Phase 1 with John Wain at Orbit Homes. There are some incredible detailing in the varied material palette and some amazing retaining structures to overcome the natural topography of the site.
