Ashby Design Ltd is a professional, experienced and CIAT accredited Architectural practice, based in Old Hatfield and we are looking for an enthusiastic and competent Architectural Technologist, to join our Technical team.

We operate across a broad range of sectors within the construction industry which includes residential, commercial and retail. Our expertise offered includes feasibility and planning, construction information, project management and visualisation. Our proficiency extends to working on Listed Buildings and structures within the Conservation Area.

The successful candidate will need to: 

• Be an enthusiastic and competent Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience.

• Be proficient in AutoCAD.

• Be experienced in residential and commercial development.

• Have excellent technical knowledge - both in traditional and modern methods of construction.

• Have the ability to produce accurate tender and construction drawings with a sound understanding of UK Building Regulations.

• Demonstrate good communication skills with other professionals, authorities and clients.

• Have a logical and practical approach to problem solving, have planning and organisation skills, demonstrate leadership skills and a willingness to take on responsibility

• Have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Be able to work under pressure.

• Work on a full time basis (with one remote working day per week).

• Be eligible to work in the UK.

The office is located close to Hatfield Train Station and free parking is also available.
